Description
Masago caviar is prized in Japanese cuisine as a topping for maki sushi, nigiri, and sashimi, as well as a garnish for seafood dishes and salad dressings. Procured from capelin fish, a member of the smelt family, it’s often used as a smaller, softer, less costly substitute for Tobiko caviar.
